Oren Gelber's practice focuses primarily on litigation. She has experience with proceedings before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board of the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, and in trademark, copyright and patent litigation in the federal courts. Ms. Gelber also works in the areas of Internet and new media law, and is a member of the firm's trademark prosecution team. Before joining the firm, Ms. Gelber practiced in the areas of securities law and in commercial litigation.
Ms. Gelber's published articles include "Trademark Infringement on Social Networking Sites" and "Pro-IP Act Amends Copyright and Trademark Laws," both published in the Consulegis legal network newsletter. Her other writing credits include "Virtual Worlds: Current and Impending IP Issues" published in The Intellectual Property Strategist, and "Virtual Worlds" published in New Matter.
Ms. Gelber is a graduate of New York University (B.A. magna cum laude) and Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law (J.D.)
