Job Description
Immediate opening for an entry level (0 to 2 years’ experience) litigation associate at Collen IP, a premier New York-based intellectual property law firm, located in Westchester County, New York. Our firm represents a wide range of domestic and international clients, from multi-national luxury goods makers and leaders in the entertainment industry, to start-up technology ventures and local businesses. Collen IP is widely recognized throughout the intellectual property law and corporate communities for its work on behalf of clients, and our many successes in defending and protecting their rights.
The successful candidate will join an experienced team of attorneys and staff who are passionate about the field of intellectual property law as well as their client’s interests and goals. Our firm supports professional training and development, and participates extensively in relevant professional organizations.
Requirements:
Candidates must have: (1) outstanding legal research, writing, and analytic skills; (2) some prior work or classroom experience in the areas of trademark, copyright, patent, unfair competition and related areas of law; and (3) ability to work as part of team.
Compensation in this entrepreneurial environment will be based on experience, and provide for individual growth and long term opportunity. The interests of our clients are nationwide, and travel may be required.
